Free NPSF Webinar Focuses on Partnering with Patients for Safe Care
Members of the National Patient Safety Foundation’s Lucian Leape Institute Roundtable on Consumer Engagement in Patient Safety will hold a discussion of the institute’s latest report, Safety Is Personal: Partnering with Patients and Families for the Safest Care, on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 10 am (CST).
The aim of the discussion is to help clinicians learn how to evaluate information and tools that will be useful in helping patients engage in their own care, to involve patients in safety improvement and care design activities and to effectively communicate information, apologies and support when things go wrong.
While there is no fee for participation in this webinar, registration is required. For more details, including a listing of discussion panelists, and to register online, click here.
